BAHR’S HAUNTED ACRES
EVENT RULES, TICKET POLICY & LIABILITY WAIVER

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THESE TERMS AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
By purchasing or using a ticket, entering the event property, or participating in Bahr’s Haunted Acres after having an opportunity to review these terms online or where posted, each guest acknowledges and agrees to this policy.
Assumption of Risk

Bahr’s Haunted Acres is an outdoor haunted attraction conducted after dark. The experience may include darkness, uneven or slippery terrain, mud, gravel, roots, steps, confined areas, weather exposure, crowds, theatrical fog, flashing lights, loud noises, sudden scares, actors, props, decorations, and limited visibility.

Participation may result in falls, collisions, fright, panic, emotional distress, property damage, physical injury, or aggravation of an existing medical condition. Guests voluntarily participate and knowingly assume all inherent and ordinary risks associated with the attraction and property.

Guests with heart, respiratory, mobility, seizure, light-sensitivity, pregnancy, anxiety, or other medical concerns should determine whether participation is appropriate before entering.

Liability Release
To the fullest extent permitted by Minnesota law, each guest releases Bahr’s Haunted Acres, the property owners and occupants, event organizers, sponsors, participating youth and nonprofit organizations, vendors, contractors, insurers, employees, volunteers, actors, representatives, and agents from claims arising from the inherent risks of the attraction or the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties, including injury, death, property loss, or property damage. This waiver does not release conduct or liability that cannot legally be waived.

Event Rules
All guests must:

• Follow instructions from event staff, guides, security personnel, and emergency responders.

• Remain with their group and guide and stay on the designated trail.

• Wear their admission wristband while on the property.

• Walk—do not run, push, fight, or intentionally disrupt the attraction.

• Respect all actors, volunteers, staff members, other guests, props, buildings, and decorations.

The following are prohibited:

• Alcohol, illegal drugs, intoxicants, weapons, dangerous items, and outside food or beverages.

• Smoking or vaping outside designated areas.

• Touching, striking, chasing, threatening, or harassing actors, volunteers, staff members, or other guests.

• Touching, damaging, climbing on, or removing props, equipment, decorations, barriers, or structures.

• Obscene, assaultive, threatening, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior.

• Entering restricted, staff-only, actor, storage, residential, or closed areas.

• Guest costumes may not include excessive gore, sexualized content, discriminatory material, or anything creating a safety concern.

• Costume props are subject to inspection. Real weapons and sharp, hard-edged, or dangerous props are prohibited.

• Bahr’s Haunted Acres may inspect bags, costumes, and props and may deny entry when an item or guest presents a safety concern.

Removal Policy
Guests who violate these rules, create a safety risk, appear dangerously impaired, or refuse staff instructions may be denied entry or removed without a refund.
If one person’s conduct creates a safety or operational concern, that person’s entire group may also be required to leave. Serious violations may result in exclusion from future events or referral to law enforcement.

Tickets and Check-In
Tickets may be presented digitally or in print. One ticket or QR code may check in all admissions purchased within the same transaction. Once checked in, those admissions cannot be reused.
Tickets may be transferred. The purchaser is responsible for providing these rules and terms to every person using a ticket from the transaction.
All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.

Weather Policy
Bahr’s Haunted Acres operates rain or shine. Weather, property conditions, safety concerns, or operational needs may require the event to modify, delay, suspend, shorten, relocate, or close portions of the experience.
Refunds will not be provided because of weather, fear, early departure, removal for misconduct, failure to attend, or modifications to actors, effects, attractions, or operating hours.

Children and Less-Scary Periods
The attraction is not recommended for children under 12 without a parent or guardian. Guests under 16 should be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.
The periods from 7:00–7:30 p.m. and 9:30–10:00 p.m. generally feature fewer actors and effects. These remain haunted-attraction experiences, and a completely scare-free visit is not guaranteed.
Additional Information
There is no ATM on-site. Some vendors may accept credit or debit cards, but card acceptance is not guaranteed.
If a guest becomes injured or ill, event personnel may contact emergency services and provide reasonable assistance. Guests remain responsible for their own medical expenses.

Acceptance
By purchasing or using a ticket, entering the event property, or participating in the attraction, each guest confirms that they:

• Reviewed or had an opportunity to review these terms;

• Understand and voluntarily assume the risks of participation;

• Agree to follow all event rules and staff instructions; and

• Accept the ticket, weather, removal, and liability provisions stated above.

A parent or legal guardian purchasing or accepting a ticket for a minor confirms that they are authorized to accept these terms on the minor’s behalf.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. These terms are governed by Minnesota law.
